SUMMARY

Sri Krishna tells Arjuna that he will tell him the greatest secret in total, the Royal-Knowledge and Royal-Secret (uncovering the greatest of the mysteries), which is pure, which is supreme, which is very easy to learn and which is easily and fully verified by direct experience.  However, faith is necessary to attain this higher law.  BG:9:1-3.

SriKrishna says: ” By MY extraordinary,  mysterious power I extend the universe, I am the material and instrumental cause of the universe, everything exists in ME, there is nothing and no formed being in which I am not present.  However, I am not limited or bound by any of the forms,  MY SELF supports all beings and their existence”. BG:9:4,5.

SriKrishna further explains that with this Knowledge of ONE all- pervading Divine,  which is not subjected to the changes of body and mind, one can become a lover of the Divine in all, worship in adoration all forms or any form and conduct all the worldly affairs dedicating them to the Divine.  Only by accepting the presence of unchanging and all-pervading Divine in all, one can overcome the evil effects of lower  Ego.  By this Knowledge one can develop a capacity for proper discrimination to choose the right actions and a strong Will to perform them with equanimity, with enthusiasm, without fear and without  doubt.  To know that one is not limited by body and mind,  and to love the Divine existence in all creatures and enjoy that delight in all things is the basic condition of spiritual existence.  This is freedom.

The great secret revealed is that, once the secret of the inner Divine Being is known and embraced, life becomes uplifting and a marvelous transformation.  The mental weaknesses, fears and apprehensions will diminish with this vision of the eternal Divine existence everywhere.  One recognizes the Unity in all apparent diversities,  unchanging permanence enveloping all changes.  Further, one will be aware of the source of apparent weakness and limitation in himself as well as those of  others.  By this, one becomes aware of the necessity to work in a spirit of cooperation and the obligatory duties toward each other.  This is the surest way to ensure that everybody’s needs are met and for equality,  equity and love to prevail.  The work becomes an devotional offering in adoration of the Divine and sacrifice to the Divine.  Expressing one’s abilities in this manner, gradually the strength of the Divine within will take hold of the emotional nature, psychology and all work will emerge effortlessly as a sacrifice to ONE Lord of all worlds.  Thus all mundane acts will become acts of divine love.

This is the all fulfilling life in which Knowledge, Works and Devotion are fused and life becomes a joyful adventure and one can rise to the highest possible state.
